- Details / Anecdotes: In the district of "Golpaja" (now Volpaia) stood the ancient furnace of Petriolo where bricks were made for the construction of the Villa owned by Cosimo I de' Medici in Cerreto Guidi. A name and a vineyard indissolubly linked to the history of Cerreto Guidi and Tuscany.
