A line of unique wines that reinterpret the highest quality of Merlot in unusual and unexpected forms.
In 2013, two sisters, Anna and Francesca, decided to leave their respective careers to dedicate themselves to viticulture. Initially, the idea was to produce and sell only the grapes, but in 2015, while walking among the rows of ancient Merlot vines, the wise vineyard of their grandfather, they decided that those extraordinary grapes deserved to be turned into extraordinary wines.
At ANNAFRANCESCA, unique wines are created that reflect the personality and vision of the wine world of the two sisters, unique even in the labels, from grapes of an ancient vineyard capable of producing wines of amazing quality, intense and round even without the need for long aging.
Today, ANNAFRANCESCA has 10 hectares of vines, Merlot, Yellow Muscat, and Pinot Grigio, while the rest of the estate is occupied by a beautiful park of native trees and a spring-fed pond, beside which ANNAFRANCESCA hosts tastings and events.
The company strongly believes in clean and sustainable agriculture, is in the process of organic conversion, and uses very few sulfites in the wines because a wine produced with skill does not require more.
